Build A School: Construction works starts on site in Koutaya
Clearing and excavation is part of the greater job which is carried out in preparing site for construction projects.
Early morning on Saturday 9th February 2020, URBOND Country Representative (Mr Mac Amara Bangoura) in Guinea and volunteers living in the area transported to the construction site over 150 poles that will constitute as the main elements of fencing the land where the school for children in need will be built.
Construction tools and materials included: wheelbarrows, chisels, cordless drills, digging bars, 15 sacs of cements, 12,000kg of sand and about 18,000kg of stones.
In total it took about two weeks for workers to install poles around the property. The work was completed on Friday 21st February 2020.
