URBOND hosted a seminar to discuss illegal immigration by young people and it’s impact on child education
We had the pleasure of meeting with young people and parents to discuss illegal immigration.
Many countries suffer from emigration because many strong and driven men and women risk their lives by attempting to cross the sea for a better live.
98 people attended the workshop, great ideas were discussed to try provide opportunities to young people in Conakry, Dubreka and surrounding areas. We also seised the opportunity to sensitise parents on the need for child education.
Thank you to Emma Davis (Deputy Head of Mission to Guinea), Alia Camara from the local authority and members of the local community for attending the workshop.
